The one cookie we set

Signing in to your workspace at brandpatrol.net/app/ sets a single cookie:

Strictly necessary. Keeps you signed in to your workspace. HttpOnly (invisible to page scripts), SameSite=Strict, Secure over HTTPS, and expires after about 12 hours of the session being idle. There is no way to opt out of this cookie and stay signed in — it's the session itself.

The public marketing pages you're browsing right now — this one included — set no advertising or tracking cookies.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Cloudflare, the content delivery network that serves brandpatrol.net, runs its Web Analytics on every page of this site. It's cookieless: no cookie, no persistent device identifier, and no cross-site tracking. It reports aggregate counts only — page views and load-performance timing — and can't be used to identify or follow an individual visitor.

Browser storage used by the chat widget

The chat bubble on this site uses your browser's own session storage and local storage — not cookies — to remember a conversation on your device:

Session storage. The messages in your current conversation, so refreshing the page doesn't lose them. Cleared automatically when you close the tab.
brandpatrol.chat.id
Session storage. A random id for your current conversation thread, so your messages join one thread on our server instead of many. Cleared automatically when you close the tab.
brandpatrol.chat.lead
Local storage. The name, work email, and company you gave the chat, if you gave them, so you don't have to retype them if you come back. Persists until you clear your browser's site data for brandpatrol.net.

Third-party checkout

Our /checkout page loads a hosted payment component directly from our payment provider, Airwallex (a script from static.airwallex.com), so your card details go straight to Airwallex and never touch our servers. That component may set its own cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud; those are governed by Airwallex's own privacy and cookie policy, not this one.

How to control this

Your browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data at any time. Blocking or deleting the bw cookie will simply sign you out of the workspace next time you visit. Clearing local or session storage for brandpatrol.net resets the chat widget's memory of your conversation on that device — it doesn't delete anything already stored on our servers; for that, see our Data Deletion page.
